Having successfully completed a number of projects for Cherwell District Council, Virtus have now been appointed to project manage the construction of a new zero carbon business development, with approximately 1,400 m2 of office space, set over three floors.
We are acting as client-side QS and CDM Advisor to the client and look forward to supporting Cherwell in the delivery of this high profile and exciting project, particularly given the environmental project credentials including BREEM Excellent and true zero carbon
The roof will feature solar panels and the building will be energy efficient, with the smart design helping minimise energy and water consumption. The well insulated building will reduce heat loss during the winter, but will provide natural ventilation and day lighting in the summer.
