On the back of the successful P.V Installation at their distribution Hub in Bolton, Hermes have asked Virtus Consult to provide consultancy support in identifying viable opportunities for Solar Photo Voltaic across their distribution network and have commenced the marketing activity.
The Bolton Project is a 50kW installation and is delivering 80% of the onsite electrical demand and a year after installation is performing 5% better than initially estimated.
With solar P.V Panel prices reducing and utilising the Feed In Tariff the payback period is now delivering a pay back of approximately 6.5 years.
