Virtus Consult are pleased to announce the successful handover of an extension to an existing clean room and associated handling equipment for our Client in Derby. Virus Consult were appointed as Principal Contractor as well as Project Manager for this project which was constructed under clean room conditions within an operational factory without impacting on business production schedules. This required careful management of the contractor and works, close liaison with our client’s business and tight protocols. Project delivery was constrained by the main contractor going into Administration and changing ownership, however careful management by Virtus has ensured the project was concluded within budget to our client’s satisfaction. Virtus were also thanked by the new main contractor for their support in expediting and coordinating the handover with the client.
