Virtus are pleased to have received a commission from Culham Science Park, Oxford to provide Energy consultancy on a proposed 6.5MW Solar P.V scheme adjacent to the Oxfordshire site. The solar farm is being developed on farm land adjacent to the science park and the aim is for the site to benefit from low cost green energy. Virtus will be providing commercial and technical advice through all stages of the project including feasibility, negotiation of Heads of Terms, design, installation and commissioning.
Culham Science Centre is owned and managed by the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. It combines world-class publicly funded research into fusion power; commercial technology organisations and Culham Innovation Centre, to create a powerhouse of high technology innovation and enterprise in South Oxfordshire, just a few miles south of the city of Oxford.
