Virtus appointed by Oxford University Hospitals Trust

Virtus have been appointed to provide strategic project management support on a number of high profile projects for Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

As part of our new remit for the Trust, our team will manage new projects including the Relocation of the Renal Ward from the Churchill Hospital to the 6th floor of the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Our role includes assessing the viability of a number of potential options including refurbishment of two 30-bed wards, a new build modular solution and a traditional new build alternative.

In addition, we have been commissioned on a number of other projects including;

  • Project to replace the Pharmacy, Purchasing and Distribution Facility
  • Creation of ambulatory care to relieve pressure on the Emergency Department
  • Refurbishment of 4-bed ward
  • Infrastructure project to upgrade the Radcliffe building, comprising enhancements to envelope, mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
