Michael had undertaken as part of his construction management degree a placement year within the industry to gain experience on a construction site and learn first-hand about the practical application of his university learning.
Having finished university in May 2013, Michael applied for the advertised position for a Graduate Project Manager at Virtus Consult.

'My time here so far has provided me with invaluable experience that most companies struggle to match. I have been assigned the role of Assistant Project Manager on a complex and challenging project for Heart of England NHS. On a daily basis I am supporting the successful operation of established professional procedures and protocols for managing the projects. I am constantly learning new concepts of project management which improves and strengthens my professional skill set. Virtus offer a wealth of opportunity for my future development and I’m looking forward to deploying my learning on future commissions.'
