Mitchells & Butlers have appointed Virtus Consult to support their new and ambitious refurbishment programme starting April 2016.
One of the largest operators of restaurants, pubs and bars in the UK, Mitchells & Butlers brands include Toby, All Bar One, Harvester and Miller & Carter, amongst others.
This refurbishment programme will see a major overhaul and full internal improvement of a selection of the Vintage Inns estate, which are traditional local pubs offering rustic features, cosy corners and beautiful beer gardens.
Virtus will be acting as Cost Managers – we will be providing initial budget information at site briefings, developing cost plans for the agreed project scope, negotiating with the Main Contractor, incorporating direct supplier costs, and actively managing project costs through until handover to Operations.
In addition to Vintage Inns, we will also be carrying out cost management for three Innkeeper’s Lodges. We will be working nationally, with projects planned as far South as Exeter and as far North as Inverness!
