The new nuclear fuel production plant that Virtus are project managing in Derby reached another significant milestone with the delivery and installation of the first piece of process plant and equipment. The project is now entering a new phase where construction and process installation works are concurrent, requiring a robust permitting regime to maintain safe working. The safety record on site has been exemplary and works are scheduled to conclude in early 2017.
