New Accident and Emergency Facilities for Good Hope Hospital

Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield is celebrating the opening of its new Emergency Department (Accident and Emergency), which become operational on 25th January 2013 following a year of construction covering two phases to allow business as usual to be maintained throughout.  The existing Accident and Emergency Department has been extensively refurbished and altered to  provide optimum usage of the existing accommodation to provide Major, Minor, Paediatric and Resus treatment, together with administrative facilities. 

A member of the Virtus Consult Team provides the ‘Client Project Sponsor’ role to our Client; Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust; representing the Trust and managing the Project Manager to deliver the project under the Department of Health’s Procure 21+ scheme, NEC3 option C form of Contract.  The final project cost is anticipated be in the region of £3.442m.
