Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield has 2 new day case theatres along with associated accommodation including wards, waiting areas, staff offices and recovery area to be used for Day Case patients following extension and refurbishment of the existing theatres since early 2012, becoming operational on 29th April 2013. The project was delivered in two phases under the Department of Health’s Procure 21+ scheme, NEC3 option C form of Contract with the final cost anticipated to be in the region of £4.2m.
Virtus are ‘Client Project Sponsor’ to Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust, bringing benefits to the Trust such as tightening control of change and financial implications, user group liaison, brief/specification control, programme and quality control and the enhancement of the project management process, as well as overseeing the successful delivery of this project.
