Following an extreme weather event, part of our Client’s manufacturing facility required repair. Virtus were appointed by our Client to Construction and Project Manage the repair works which were mobilised at short notice and required to be delivered within a reduced timeframe to take advantage of a brief shutdown in manufacturing capability, which required careful planning and management. The time critical programme was delivered in a highly visible but constrained areas, maintaining vehicular and pedestrian access to site at all times, required to meet emergency protocols. The work required heaving lifting of glazing panels and fascia to high levels whilst maintaining security protocols and weather protection to the factory in difficult weather conditions which were safely managed to ensure the works were delivered on programme, to allow production to be recommenced on time. Our Client has thanked Virtus for the successful delivery of a safe and well managed project.
