University Graduate, Ben Hadley joined Virtus in July 2012. Ben was seeking an opportunity to prove his worth and develop a career in construction. Aware of the current economic climate and the difficulties facing the construction industry he undertook a volunteer placement with a Contractor to gain experience on a construction site and to learn first-hand about the practical application of his University learning.
Ben says: ‘Having researched Virtus’ values and products, I felt the company would be the ideal place for me to begin my career. My time here has provided me with invaluable experience that most companies struggle to match. I have been assigned the role of Assistant Project Manager on a complex and sensitive project. On a daily basis I am supporting the successful operation of established professional procedures and protocols for managing the projects. I am constantly learning new concepts of project management which improves and strengthens my professional skill set. Virtus offer a wealth of opportunity for my future development and I’m looking forward to deploying my learning on future commissions.’
